CARISMA prides itself on being one of Toronto’s Best Italian Restaurants and remains a favourite amongst its long-standing loyal clientele. With a long history of being in the business, including restaurants such as Barolo and Il Mulino, Carisma offers the same authentic Italian food and quality service they are known and loved for.
After spending 8 years on King Street East, Carisma has relocated to 15 Toronto Street. Only steps away from its original location, Carisma is now able to accommodate more than ever with two private rooms, a larger dining space and separate bar area.
Carisma is described in one word is what the Italians like to refer to as “accoglienza”, the epitome of hospitality, a warm welcome that only comes with experience, heart and lots of Carisma! Together with the whole Carisma Family, We look forward to welcoming you to our new home and making new memories together.
Allan Hilario
Allan Hilario started working with Margi and Michael at Barolo in 1992. Learning along the way, he became the executive chef to restaurants Il Mulino and now Carisma. They have continued to evolve as a team and business ever since. He believes that you can never compromise on quality ingredients and is a perfectionist when it comes to his cooking.
Consistency is key in running a successful kitchen, ensuring every dish comes out just as you remembered it or even better! He has a passion and love for what he does and it is evident in every dish that comes out his kitchen.
